CANTON, Ohio - Specialty steel product maker Timken Co. said Monday signed a deal to sell wind turbine gearbox bearings to Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co.
Timken expects the deal to generate $30 million in revenue this year.
Timken, which also expects the contract to produce revenue in 2010, will supply tapered and cylindrical roller bearings for use in the Chinese company's wind power gearboxes.
