(ROLL: News ) reported that its third-quarter net income decreased to $7.7 million or $0.35 per share from $9.6 million or $0.44 per share last year. Adjusted net income decreased to $9.0 million or $0.41 per share from $9.5 million or $0.44 per share last year. On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.41 per share for the quarter.

The company reported third-quarter net sales of $85.3 million compared to $80.4 million prior year. Analysts expected sales of $82.86 million for the quarter.
