Industry-standard SN bearings

BALDOR has released a range of industry-standard SN mounted bearings with lubrication and strengthening features.
The Dodge SNX range can be interchanged with SN housings designed by other manufacturers and cover shaft sizes from 40 to 175mm.
The company says the units can be specified with a range of seals such as double lip, felt, V-ring, labyrinth, triple tect and end covers.
According to the distributor, the bearing’s cast iron housing has been strengthened and has a four-bolt cap to resist shock loads.
The products come with two drilled and tapped lubrication holes in the cap and two drain holes in the base. A large capacity oil sump also prevents overheating in high speed applications.
